After the torrential rain, a spectacular aquatic spectacle emerged at Limutai.

After the heavy rain, the mountain streams have all turned swift and raging. Waterfalls and streams cascade down from the heights; from afar, they look like strands of jade ribbons draped over the treetops, shimmering in the sunlight. As an ancient poem puts it, “A night of rain in the mountains—hundreds of springs at the tips of the trees.” Such breathtaking scenery surely makes everyone want to come and experience it for themselves.

The entire Limutai is shrouded in mountain mist, with swirling smoke that makes it look like a fairyland, lending it an air of mystery. The layered peaks and overlapping ridges appear all the more staggered and majestic, while the myriad cliffs and valleys grow even more serene and profound. The air is filled with the fresh scent of grass and the earthy fragrance of soil; a gentle sniff, and that crisp, invigorating coolness slips into your nostrils, seeps deep into your heart, dissolving all your worries into nothingness.
