Later, nearly 30 years passed,
Finally, this holiday was officially established in 2011.
To commemorate the great traveler Xu Xiake,
This holiday has been set for May 19th each year.

“May 19” China Tourism Day
Limumai presents a travel-day benefit.
1. On China Tourism Day, visitors born on May 19 will receive free admission to the scenic area—excluding the entrance fee and the round-trip shuttle bus fare—upon presenting their ID card or other valid identification. They will also receive a complimentary, beautifully crafted tourism souvenir. Accompanying guests may enjoy student‑rate tickets, limited to a maximum of five people.
2. Visitors whose license plate numbers and mobile phone numbers both end in 519 may enter the scenic area free of charge on May 19, upon presentation of valid identification. (A round-trip shuttle bus ticket is required.) Accompanying visitors can purchase tickets at the student rate, subject to a limit of five people.

1. All visitors entering the park must wear a mask properly, scan the “Jinmen Anti-Epidemic” health code, have their health code verified, present their ID card, and undergo temperature screening. Only after passing security checks may they enter the park.
