On the morning of July 1, as the Party warmly celebrated the 99th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, Comrade Nan Xiaodong, Secretary of the Group’s Party Committee and Chairman, delivered a thematic Party lecture at the Limutai Party Branch, extended condolences to party members facing difficulties, and took part in the branch’s “Celebrate July 1, Raise the Banner, Set an Example” campaign—a large-scale, coordinated environmental improvement initiative involving ten thousand Party members across urban and rural areas—working alongside the branch’s cadres and Party members to clean up and improve the scenic area’s sanitation.
At 9:00 a.m., Comrade Nan Xiaodong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Tourism Group, delivered a thematic Party lecture to the Limutai Party Branch, focusing on “How to Understand the Original Aspiration and Mission of Communist Party Members in the New Era.” During the lecture, Secretary Nan analyzed the current landscape of the tourism sector, drawing on his firsthand experience in township-level work and the broader context of the Tourism Group’s reform efforts to provide a practical, real‑world classroom discussion. He urged the branch’s Party members and cadres to remain true to their original aspirations, shoulder their mission with courage, and take proactive action. While elucidating the advantages of overarching policies, Comrade Nan also highlighted the significant opportunities facing the Limutai Scenic Area. Breaking away from conventional classroom formats, he fostered an open, interactive dialogue with the company’s Party members and cadres, jointly exploring the scenic area’s future development path and the importance of maintaining an eco‑friendly, green‑development orientation. The branch’s Party members and cadres actively offered candid suggestions, voicing their hopes for the scenic area’s growth through straightforward, down-to-earth remarks, thereby achieving the intended goals of liberating minds and grounding discussions in practical realities.
Following the meeting, Comrade Nan Xiaodong also paid a visit to Comrade He Yuzhu, a Party member facing difficulties, inquiring about his current health and family circumstances and conveying the Party organization’s care and concern.
Following the conclusion of the Party lecture, Comrade Nan Xiaodong took the initiative to step forward and, as an ordinary Party member, joined fellow members of the branch in participating in the “Celebrating July 1st, Raising the Banner, Setting an Example: A City–Rural Environmental Comprehensive Improvement Campaign Involving Ten Thousand Party Members.” Together, they conducted a thorough, grid‑style cleanup of the area where the scenic zone meets the village, addressing numerous sanitation dead spots that had previously fallen into regulatory blind spots.
During the event, Comrade Nan Xiaodong urged the scenic area to further intensify its comprehensive environmental improvement efforts. In alignment with the goals and tasks of the “100-Day Campaign,” he called for the establishment of a regularized governance mechanism to enhance both the environmental quality and service standards of the tourist site, thereby creating a comfortable, clean, and culturally uplifting tourism environment and contributing to the development of a better Jizhou.
