The poet Bei Dao once said: “A father is a book.”

There are no flowery words, yet the truth is beyond measure.

A father’s love is not easily expressed.

Yet time has recounted them one by one for him.

How, then, should we express our love for our father?

Father’s Day is just around the corner.

Xiao Li’s here to show a little token of her appreciation.

On Sunday, June 20—Father’s Day—fathers aged 50 and above can enjoy free admission to Limutai (entry requires presentation of ID; a round-trip shuttle bus ticket must be purchased).

Leading my father into the mountains and forests.

Let’s go on an aerobic hike!

Walk at a slow pace, with light steps.

Enjoy the joys of family life all the way.

The fresh greenery of the mountains stretches toward the horizon.

Encountering the azure sky and the bright white clouds

And so, the “beauty filter” of the summer mountains and forests.

Then I added n layers of unbelievable filters.

The mountain breeze softly whispers of summer’s fresh air.

To blend the myriad strands of greenery into a seamless gradient.

Transforming into the most primal vitality, it surrounds you.

Nourishing every cell in the body

Clusters of daylilies bloom at the foot of the mountain.

Dazzling and eye-catching, yet quietly pure.

Along the way, trees and flowers thrive.

Always keep your eyes clear and your heart pure.

The air is filled with the fresh scent of plants.

Measure the natural world with your footsteps.

Capture the silky mountain breeze with both hands.

Preserve the beautiful scenery with your eyes.

Capture your free-spirited mood with a camera.

On Father’s Day, you’re welcome to bring your dad to Limutai.

Embrace nature
