Based on past experience and this year’s weather conditions, the mountain vegetation at Limutai Scenic Area is expected to turn green in early April, while the pear blossoms are forecast to be in full bloom from late April to early May—when the area once again presents the breathtaking spectacle of “thousands upon thousands of pear trees adorned with white blossoms.” Before the pear blossoms have fallen, azaleas at elevations above 600 meters will also burst into vibrant bloom, their pink petals spreading across the hillsides in a truly spectacular display. In other words, the ideal time to visit Limutai Scenic Area this year for spring outings and flower‑watching is roughly from early April through late May. A secluded landscape straight out of a traditional Chinese painting, Limutai is a place of legend—welcome!
