The 7th Limutai Azalea Festival is about to begin.

The 7th Limutai Rhododendron Festival is about to begin. The rhododendrons in the Limutai Scenic Area bloom in early April and remain in flower for roughly a month, with mid-April being the prime time to admire them. In spring, Limutai transforms into a sea of blossoms. Renowned for its spectacular peaks, picturesque waters, striking rock formations, and secluded forests, Limutai in Jixian County has been hailed by experts and scholars as “Tianjin’s Shennongjia.” Its unique geological features, diverse biological resources, and rich cultural and historical relics have earned it widespread acclaim from visitors.

The vast expanses of natural rhododendrons within the scenic area have become another distinctive and picturesque highlight unique to Limutai, while the spectacular “Crimson‑Pink Mountain Ranges” has long been renowned throughout the Beijing–Tianjin region. The annual Rhododendron Festival serves as the opening act for Limutai’s tourism season.
