After the National Day holiday, autumn has fully taken hold. At Limutai, the leaves of five-pointed maples, Chinese tallow trees, pagoda trees, Chinese locusts, and walnut‑leaf catalpas are gradually turning red, creating a breathtaking spectacle of “mountains awash in crimson and forests dyed in every hue.”
To allow more visitors to experience this unique “autumn charm” firsthand, the scenic area is offering two special promotions: the “Autumn Charm at Limutai” Red‑Leaf Viewing Season and the “Most Enchanting Chongyang” event.
On the day of the Double Ninth Festival, the “2017 National Mass Mountain Climbing and Fitness Conference—Tianjin Station” and the third Li Mutai Mass Mountain Climbing Convention will also be held. Visitors are welcome to register and take part.
From October 13 to October 31, children measuring 1.2–1.5 meters tall enjoy free admission to the park (only a discounted round-trip shuttle bus ticket priced at 10 yuan is required).

At Limutai, where forest coverage soars to 90%, red leaves are the very essence of autumn. A single night of autumn winds and a few autumn showers have brought us an early rendezvous with the crimson foliage. Up the mountains and down the slopes, the forests are ablaze with color, each vibrant patch set against a soft green—subtle yet striking, beautifully just right.
