The 2019 Beijing Promotion Event for Limu Scenic Area was successfully held.

On March 21, the Limu Scenic Area, in collaboration with Tianjin Panshan Scenic Area, Beijing Jinhai Lake Scenic Area, Hebei Qingdongling Protected Area, and Huangyaguan Great Wall—five scenic areas in total—hosted the “Jingdong Scenic Areas 2019 Beijing Promotion Conference” at the Royal Cuisine Museum in Beijing.

Approximately 200 representatives, including journalists from mainstream media outlets and travel agencies in the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei region, attended the promotional event.

At the event, He Zhineng, Deputy District Mayor of Jizhou District, Tianjin, delivered a speech, stating that Jizhou District will leverage its natural and cultural resources as well as its strategic location to proactively integrate into the coordinated development of the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei region, offering visitors a vibrant and diverse tourism experience under the theme “Beijing to the East, a World of Wonders.”

Subsequently, five scenic areas each conducted promotional presentations. Staff from the Limutai Scenic Area used videos, photographs, and written descriptions to comprehensively highlight their unique brand attributes, leaving a lasting impression on travel agencies and the media.

The Limu Scenic Area will seize the historic opportunity presented by Jizhou District’s designation as one of the first national demonstration zones for all‑area tourism, putting into practice the “Two Mountains” philosophy that绿水青山 (lucid waters and lush mountains) are invaluable assets. Guided by the vision of nature‑based ecotourism and leisure‑and‑wellness travel, the area will pursue green and sustainable development, with a particular focus on “forest‑health” tourism experiences. It will develop a range of offerings, including ecological trails, forest‑based team‑building activities, science‑education exhibitions, specialty cuisine, wellness programs, and mountain‑style camping, thereby promoting the shared use of forest ecosystems and meeting visitors’ demand for high‑quality tourism.

This promotional event is sure to enhance the social visibility and brand influence of the Limutai Scenic Area, encouraging more travel agencies to feature it as a key tour itinerary and attracting a growing number of visitors from Beijing to make it their destination.
