I. Utilize fire‑prevention recordings, mobile fire‑prevention publicity vehicles, electronic billboards, and other outreach methods to raise public awareness of forest fire prevention.
II. Distribute informational leaflets to villagers to promote forest‑fire prevention knowledge, and create a forest‑fire‑prevention awareness campaign at the scenic area’s main entrances and in surrounding villages, thereby enhancing villagers’ forest‑fire‑prevention awareness.
III. Strengthen the physical fitness of team members by organizing regular 5-kilometer training marches to enhance their combat effectiveness.
IV. Strengthen the management and registration of visitors, as well as the scanning and confiscation of fire‑related items, to ensure that no sources of ignition enter the mountain area.
V. Ensure effective management of material reserves, and conduct daily maintenance and testing of emergency equipment such as wind‑powered fire extinguishers, fire‑fighting vehicles, and troop transport vehicles to guarantee their safe and proper operation in the event of emergencies.
VI. Strictly enforce the forest fire‑prevention patrol system, conducting daily patrols in the mountains to prevent “hikers” and other unauthorized persons from entering and thereby ensuring forest fire safety within the scenic area.
7. Promptly clear away dead branches, weeds, and other combustible materials around the scenic area to prevent fires.
Recently, the District Emergency Management Bureau, the Forestry Bureau’s Forest Fire Prevention Office, and other relevant departments visited the Limutai Scenic Area to inspect forest fire‑prevention efforts. They commended the scenic area’s comprehensive forest fire‑prevention measures and urged staff to further strengthen these efforts, remain vigilant at all times, and build an unbreakable barrier to safeguard the forest safety of the Limutai Scenic Area and its surrounding areas.
