Creating a zero-waste scenic area: Limutai is taking action.
“A zero-waste scenic area” refers to a management model that minimizes the environmental impact of solid waste by reducing waste at the source, promoting resource recovery and reuse, and ensuring safe, harmless treatment. In advancing this initiative, Limutai has embraced innovative practices, setting the development of a “zero-waste scenic area” as its goal and guiding principle. It has established a “smart tourism” system, carried out comprehensive improvements to the tourism environment, and implemented a green development approach, thereby embedding the concept of sustainable development in the hearts and minds of all stakeholders.
